I've never properly played through the game for the story, so this is my character to do just that! Hoping it will open up more roleplay opportunities in the future!I'm still early in Heavensward and doing side quests, but I'm making progress and having such fun! I am trying to learn the world as much as possible to better enable roleplay and open up more opportunities in the future!I am willing to explore more mature themes or even erotic roleplay, but those things must be negotiated beforehand. If you bring them up in roleplay without talking about it first, I will just stop the roleplay. Also because these are themes I am okay with exploring, I will not roleplay with minors out of character or child characters.I want to emphasize that I am not my character. The stuff he gets up to does not reflect me out of character. He is a toy I hope we can both play with and enjoy, but do not let that affect you into the real world. Especially if we go the route of romance roleplay, that does NOT mean I am open to real romance, and even the roleplay must be discussed with boundaries surrounding it.

Appearance

Mewling is a transmasculine keeper of the sun miqo'te. He is early into transition and currently leans more androgynous in disposition than anything, with a feminine figure and voice. He is thin and scrawny, but tall and walks confidently with an air of purpose.He has shorter pink hair that he changes the style of often and is usually wearing clothing dyed to be fully carmine red, with carmine red nails to match. You will sometimes find him carrying a book of some kind while dressed a bit like a casual nerd, but that does not mean he cannot dress well. Although he is a man, he does not mind dressing femininely if the need so arises, he knows what looks good on him, and the people close to him knows who he truly is.

Deeper Background

  • His name is Mewl because he forgot his birth name and just calls himself an easy sound he can make.

  • His loved ones often call him "Mewling" as a nickname because he is so small and weak, like if there were actual "mewls" he would be a mewling.

  • He became an adventurer because he didn't like his clan's nuhn and wanted to run away with a tia that's an adventurer.

  • The tia refused, saying I only date people that can back me up in a fight, and you are too stupid and clumsy and ditzy to do that.

  • Mewling takes this as a challenge to prove himself, and sets off to become a strong adventurer for his love.

  • While questing, he accidentally boards the wrong airship and ends up in Gridania, but doesn't have enough gil to take one back to Thanalan like he meant, and resigns himself to walking.

  • He then stumbles upon a master thaumaturge in Quarrymill based off a flier that says "Seeking fresh transsexuals" with a tomestone number to contact the master.

  • Mewling finds this and is like "I'm one of those I'll check this out" and goes along with it to meet the master.

  • Mewling is so weak and pathetic that when the master meets him the master is endeared and reminded of himself, so he decides to be Mewling's mentor and takes him as an apprentice and they end up with a bit of a problematic relationship.

  • The mentor helps Mewling get the masculinizing aetherial implant for his transition.

  • As a thaumaturge, he is only able learn fire, blizzard, and sleep, but can also only cast sleep on himself.

  • Now that he has a couple spells, he has been filled with incredible confidence, much to the detriment of himself and entertainment of those around him.

Transition

  • early on into his transition

  • slow acting aetherial, masculinizing device implanted into Mewling in his left am

  • he would get the implant from the Ironworks that his mentor brought him to and got him the implant because the guy that did it owed his mentor a favor

  • the implant has to be recharged with aether regularly, but Mewling's mentor could do it

  • can stop when the implant is drained of aether, and then left in to stop the reverse of the aether

  • Mewling is being compensated for the study so that is why it is slow
